BVW Round 3 is one week long instead of the usual two, and “creating something fun” is the only target! Recreating BopIt! in such a big scale is something I have never thought about and gratefully it works beautifully. Our team spend the whole week to build those two arcades from ground up: including buying door handles and other material from flee market. The two systems are set up using Makey-Makey and the gameplay is presented through a Unity 2D application. I used Lagrange Polynomial to approximate a fluid curve of give orders on screen.
There was some 2D animation, however, is not used. Here is the one for “Flip it”.
